Peacefully Aware is a brand that's built around positive mental and physical health. They believe that learning produces knowledge, knowledge increases awareness, and awareness inspires change.
The client wanted to create an umbrella brand around positive mental and physical health. Eventually the brand would branch out into other sub-brands, but it would originally start out as an organic plant-based, whole-food meal-prep door-delivery company.
My first step was identifying and simplifying her overall vision, which allowed us to create her mission statement "To spread wellness to others". I then created an identity system centered around her mission statement.
The next step was to create a logo that embodied her vision, as well as the following elements...
(1) The Peace sign, which represents peace.
(2) The all seeing eye/The Eye of Providence, which represents the eye of God that watches over humanity.
(3) The third eye...also called the mind's eye, which is a mystical and esoteric concept of an invisible eye that provides perception beyond ordinary sight.
(4) Chakra colors, which represent energy throughout the body.
With this in mind, I created her logo by blending the metaphorical abstractions (listed above) into one simple concrete concept. Additionally, I used the Vesica Piscis as a construction grid to design her logo. I chose the Vesica Piscis because it's the starting point of all sacred geometry. Spiritually, it represents creation, birth, and the joining of spiritual and physical. It's also the starting place of patterns like the Seed of Life and the Flower of Life.
Building her website was the last step. I designed a prototype in Figma, then I used Webflow.com to build and host her website.
Cierra Kelley, the founder of Peacefully Aware, now has a strong foundation (identity system, logo, website, etc.) to maintain her brand. Since her mission statement and logo are the concrete manifestation of her overall vision, she can scale her brand seamlessly.
